His Majesty King Hamad ratified and issued Law (18) of 2026 ratifying the agreement between the Government of Bahrain and the Government of Jersey on the elimination of double taxation with respect to taxes on income and the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance, following approval by the Shura Council and Parliament.
The agreement was signed in Manama on September 15, 2025.
The Prime Minister and the ministers, each within their capacity, will implement the provisions of this law, which will come into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
