Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani praised the initiatives of His Majesty King Hamad in promoting peace, coexistence and dialogue among cultures and religions, on the occasion of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development and in conjunction with the ‘Year of Isa Al Kabeer’.
The minister reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthening the values of tolerance, human fraternity, and respect for cultural and religious diversity.
Dr Al Zayani also commended the efforts of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence and Tolerance (KHGC) in promoting humanitarian values and noted Bahrain’s international recognition for religious and cultural diversity, including its Guinness World Records recognition for the highest density of places of worship for different religions.
