Brigadier Dr Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services (RMS) and chairman of the Supreme Committee for Treatment Abroad, visited Medipol University Hospital in Türkiye as part of his official visit to the country.
Brigadier Dr Shaikh Fahad was briefed on the latest services, technologies, and specialised practices in prosthetics design and manufacturing, rehabilitation techniques, and advanced healthcare services.
Brigadier Dr Shaikh Fahad discussed opportunities for co-operation and exchange of expertise to support the development of rehabilitation and specialised care services within the RMS.
Brigadier Dr Shaikh Fahad also visited a specialised company, where he was briefed on projects related to mobile medical clinics, field ambulance services, and solutions supporting field healthcare operations as part of efforts to strengthen medical readiness and enhance emergency, disaster, and field response capabilities.
