A woman has been sentenced to three years in prison and fined BD5,400 for trading in expired food products and items that did not comply with approved technical regulations.
The defendant was also accused of engaging in activities not listed in the health registration certificate. She was also found guilty of failing to fulfil the effective management duties of the establishment, which contributed to the commission of the offences.
