Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa inaugurated Shaikh Abdulla bin Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa Avenue, linking Hunainiya Avenue and Al Muaskar Highway in Riffa.
The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the continued implementation of infrastructure projects, particularly the development and modernisation of the road network, is keeping pace through well-studied steps with the rapid urban growth, providing a sustainable environment that supports economic activity in line with the objectives of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that naming the avenue after the late Shaikh Abdulla bin Salman reflects Bahrain’s keenness to commemorate loyal national figures who left clear marks and notable contributions to serving the kingdom and its leadership.
