A poetry evening celebrating patriotic Bahraini values was held at the Cultural Hall by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca).
Titled ‘Lailat Watan’ (A Night for the Homeland), the event featured prominent Bahraini poets Shaikh Khalid bin Isa Al Khalifa, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Ali Abdulla Khalifa and Dr Rashid Najem. Their recitals reflected themes of loyalty, belonging and deep national pride.
The evening highlighted poetry’s enduring role in strengthening national unity and fostering a sense of solidarity across the kingdom.
The event also underscored the richness of Bahrain’s literary scene, drawing strong engagement from attendees who appreciated both the nationalistic spirit and the depth of expression presented by the poets.
Baca continues to organise cultural and literary events aimed at enriching the local cultural landscape and reinforcing Bahrain’s standing as a regional and international hub for creativity, thought and culture.
