Riyadh: King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud launched and laid the foundation stone for 151 development projects worth SR11.84 billion in Tabuk region.
The list included eleven projects for the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) totalling SR98.31 million, 69 projects for the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs costing SR757.76 million and
21 projects of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture valued at SR1.5bn.
Five projects for the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources: Two projects for the Industrial Cities Authority totaling SR45.86m and three for the Electricity Administration worth a total of SR4.94 billion were also launched.
The Saudi monarch also gave the gave the green light for two projects for the Ministry of Housing worth SR408m, in addition to 17 projects for the Ministry of Education and five others for Tabuk University worth SR1.6bn.
Sixteen projects for the Ministry of Transport totaling SR1.6 billion and 18 projects for the Seaports General Authority worth SR876m were also given the go-ahead.
King Salman is scheduled to launch the SR85 billion Waad Al-Shimal Economic Project on Thursday.
He will also lay the foundation stone for the solar energy project in Sakaka, and Domat Al-Jandal wind energy project, among others.
