Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) team KHK MMA continue their scouting programme throughout Bahrain, with the latest stop being Red Wolf Mixed Martial Arts Gym in Busaiteen.

The scouting programme led by CEO Mohammed Shahid is seeking to inspire, discover and develop new talent in Bahrain.

Shahid’s first scouting trip was at Bahrain MMA. Last week, the scouting team arrived at Red Wolf MMA where they were greeted by owner Ahmed Wazan and Head Coach Faisal Wazan.

Shahid believes he saw some students at Red Wolf who have what it takes to succeed at the top level.

“I was particularly impressed with fighters such as Hassan Haji, Mohammed Sayed, Mohammed Yousif, the brothers Adel and Hassan Lari, and Abdul Latif, who showcased great talent and excellent knowledge,” he said.

“Their wrestling skills and catch wrestling submissions, which are essential for MMA, were particularly impressive and this proved to me coach Wazan’s amazing ability in translating his expertise into his students.”

Those who have raw talent and work ethic required for success in MMA will be taken under the wing at KHK MMA stable, a gym with world-class coaches, facilities and brimming with superstars of the present and future.

Strides

KHK MMA, which was formed last year, have made giant strides in achieving their objective which is to revolutionise MMA in the Middle East and educate the community in its core values.

From the outset, they focused as much on developing their amateur talent as they did with their professional fighters, believing that a strong relationship between the two was key.

They brought in some of the best fighters, coaches and facilities in the world and put on fight nights to ensure their fighters were getting competitive experience.

KHK recently announced their new fight promotion, Brave Combat Federation, which will feature some of the world’s most talented fighters alongside the best homegrown talent the Middle East has to offer.

The scouting programme continues to inspire the youth of Bahrain as well as promote the message that people with the necessary attributes who are willing to make the necessary sacrifices, could be the next KHK MMA superstar.
