Abu Dhabi: Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has asked departments to remove insulated window glasses from the offices of directors.
The order is aimed at ensuring that people had easy access to officials.
“I made a surprise visit to government departments and I was surprised to see a number of directors sitting behind closed doors.
“So I gave orders to remove all the doors,” Shaikh Mohammed said in a video which went viral.
This comes after he ordered nine senior officials at the Dubai Municipality to retire, reported Arabic daily Al-Marsd.
