THE third fight of the BRAVE CF 70 fight card is locked-in as Mohammed ‘Sher-e-Hind’ Farhad and Ruel ‘Bagsik’ Panales Part Two will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on April 23.
Indian MMA star Farhad and Philippines’ Panales have unfinished business following their no-nontest result at BRAVE 66 in Bali, Indonesia, last year.
The much-anticipated fight between these two respected figures ended in disappointment after Farhad landed a clearly unintentional kick to Panales’ groin while the Filipino attempted to throw a kick of his own in the second round of their bantamweight bout. Eager to compete and entertain the fans in his BRAVE CF debut, Panales tried to fight on but unfortunately could not, and the bout was without a winner.
Farhad – India’s number one ranked bantamweight – never ceases to entertain, producing four knockouts in four wins thus far in his quest to become the first-ever Indian BRAVE CF champion. Prior to the no-contest and a loss in 2022, he was riding an unbeaten streak dating back to 2018.
Heading into the most-global promotion - BRAVE CF, Paneles had an unblemished record with five stoppage wins in five fights. His first fight might not have been the debut he had hoped for, but he now has the chance to start on a clean slate and continue his trajectory as the new face of Filipino MMA following the retirement of his coach and mentor – former star – Rolando Dy.
BRAVE CF’s return to Slovenia will see the brand work with local organisation WFC which returns to action with WFC 25 in co-promotion with BRAVE CF 70.
The event will see one of Europe’s biggest stars headline the card as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Erko Jun faces Slovenia’s Marko Drmonjic in a light heavyweight bout. The co-main event will be a potential number-one contender bantamweight fight between Jose Torres and Nkosi Ndebele.
