Manama will take on Qatar’s Al Sadd club in their last Group B game of the West Asia Super League (WASL) - Gulf Region at the Zain Basketball Arena tonight.
The Bahrain club are currently second in the four-team table with eight points from their three wins and two losses in five games, behind leaders Kuwait Club who have ten points after winning all their five matches thus far.
Manama won their first match against Al Sadd – an away game in Doha in early January – 99-94 and the Qatari club, who languish in last place with six points after just one win and four losses in their five games, will be seeking to avenge that defeat.
Meanwhile, the Bahraini club, who were leading the table after four games in January with seven points before Kuwait Club defeated them 106-78 eight days ago, will be just as keen to win their last group match.
If Manama do win and Kuwait Club, who will be facing off against Al Nasr Riyadh later in the evening in the Saudi capital, lose to their opponents, both teams will end the group stage with 10 points each.
The game is scheduled to start at 6pm.
