The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) confirmed the continuation of its coordination with various government agencies to address illegal practices in the labour market, noting the implementation of a joint inspection campaign with the Ministry of Interior in the Muharraq Governorate.
The inspection campaign included visiting a number of shops, work sites and labour gathering places, to determine the extent of compliance with regulations and laws, especially the LMRA Law and the Residency Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where a number of legal violations were recorded .
