Michigan Police were called to rescue a woman stuck inside the toilet bowl after she lowered herself in to try and retrieve an Apple watch.
The incident happened in an outhouse bathroom near Dixon Lake. Police were called after passersby heard cries for help coming from inside the outhouse. When police reached the scene, they found a woman halfway down the toilet, stuck and unable to get out.
It turns out that the woman had lost her Apple Watch down the toilet and in an attempt to retrieve it, had lowered herself into the toilet. She then got stuck and was unable to come out of the toilet by herself.
Michigan Police and Conservation Officers had to use a strap to hoist the woman out of the toilet, along with removing the toilet itself.
This bizarre incident prompted a warning from the police department warning people against venturing into the "containment area" if they lose an item as it may cause serious harm.
A Michigan State Police spokesperson said that the unidentified woman had managed to retrieve her Apple Watch before being stuck and that their team "guesstimated" that she was stuck for nearly 30 minutes before being rescued.
