His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received his Personal Representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani at Sakhir Palace. They discussed regional developments as well as the 2023 UN Climate Change Conference (COP28), which will convene in the UAE and the GCC Summit, set to be held in Qatar .
