The Housing and Urban Planning Ministry has provided housing for more than 5,300 Bahraini women during the last decade, specifically since 2011, Minister Amna Al Romaihi said yesterday.
She affirmed the government’s keenness to include Bahraini women in the categories entitled to housing services, including those women benefit from as a family member or as divorcees and widows with custody, pointing out the recent amendments to the fifth category, which include orphaned, single and abandoned women, and the expansion of the criteria for age, income and rental cost .
