Mumtalakat, Bahrain's sovereign wealth, today launched the Bahrain Food Holding Company (BFHC) to accelerate growth and innovation in the kingdom's agri-food sector.
It will also support national efforts in achieving food security.
Led by Basim Al Saie as chairman, the new company includes food industry veteran Khalid Al Amin as a board member.
BFHC will initially include all food related businesses that are majority owned by Mumtalakat.
