A Ramadan ghabga for the media was hosted by the Gulf International Bank (GIB) at the historic Manamat Al Gosaibi museum, the home of Saudi-born poet, thinker and influencer, the late Dr Ghazi Al Gosaibi.
The event served as a platform to strengthen relationships between GIB and the media community while celebrating the holy month.
Guests including journalists, photographers and sales representatives were welcomed by GIB Group head of corporate communications Abdulrahman Sulaiman AlAhaideb who delivered a speech highlighting the bank’s appreciation for the media’s role in supporting the bank’s ongoing endeavours.
Present were the bank’s assistant vice-president for corporate communications Hanadi Araik and Zahraa Taher, the managing director of FinMark Communications, the bank’s public relations agency.
Manamat Al Gosaibi has been restored by Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research as a tribute and commemoration to the Saudi public figure who made a significant impact in both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia through his literary contributions.
The bank signed a platinum sponsorship agreement with the centre last year for the museum.
