MANAMA: Bahrain-based Hilal Computers, an IT solutions and technical services provider, has elevated its strategic partnership with Microsoft to become a Licensing Solutions Partner (LSP), serving the kingdom’s private and public sectors.
As a Microsoft LSP, Hilal Computers is committed to the delivery of cost-effective, on-premises and cloud-based products, services and solutions, under licence from Microsoft, to government departments and private enterprises in Bahrain.
Previously, Hilal Computers held Microsoft Managed Status, serving small and medium-sized enterprises in the kingdom.
The LSP programme is an important part of Microsoft’s digital-transformation mission, to help organisations and individuals everywhere achieve more through the use of leading-edge technology solutions.
In achieving LSP status, Hilal Computers has met a number of criteria.
Crucially, the company’s four Microsoft-certified licensing professionals and its technical and pre-sales personnel proved themselves fully conversant with the Microsoft Cloud.
Their expertise extends from the core Azure platform across the host of apps and services that call Azure home – Office 365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Exchange, Skype for Business, Power BI, SQL Server and many more.
“With this agreement, Hilal Computers becomes one of only four Microsoft LSPs in Bahrain,” said Hilal Computers general manager Hardy Koshy.
Microsoft general manager for Bahrain and Oman Sherif Tawfik said the agreement comes as larger-scale organisations in Bahrain increasingly embrace digital transformation as a means to achieve ever-greater efficiency and productivity.
“Hilal Computers has proven itself a capable and innovative partner in Microsoft’s mission to help organisations and individuals worldwide achieve more,” he added.
