With the excitement of a child and with great anticipation, I arrived, for the first time at Khalifa Al Kubra Garden, opposite the Oasis Centre in Riffa, but I was highly disappointed when I didn’t see a single bench with backrest there.
I regret the authorities who built this garden in 2012 didn’t think about senior citizens at all. Don’t they know that old people need a back support to rest peacefully, otherwise they go through torture sitting with nothing to support their backs?
They spent so much money but could they not spend one per cent more for the sake of senior citizens of this country?
In other walkways etc there are a few benches with back-support (still not enough), then why not in this park?
I, for one will never again visit this garden.
