Seven inmates, including three women, were executed in Kuwait today.
They had been convicted of murder and drug trafficking and sentenced to capital punishment.
The convicts were hanged at the central prison, sources told Alrai newspaper.
Kuwaiti national Shaikh Faisal Al-Sabah was among the seven executed convicts, for murdering Shaikh Basel Al-Sabah, a member of the ruling family.
Nusra Al-Enzi, a Kuwaiti woman, is also on the list for setting fire to a wedding tent in the Al-Ouyoun area, leaving 59 dead.
The other executed convicts are Bangladeshi Mohammed Shaha Sinwar Hussein, Egyptians Sayyed Radhi Jumaa and Samir Taha Abdulamajid Abduljalil, Filipina Jakatia Pawa, and an Ethiopian woman Amakel Ouku Mikonin.
