Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Shaikh Salman Al-Humood tendered his resignation to the Cabinet when it convened for its weekly session.
Arabic newspaper Alqabas reported that the minister left the meeting after submitting his resignation.
This followed a demand submitted by MPs Walid Al-Tabtabai, Al-Hamidi Al-Subai and Abdulwahab Al-Babteen to Parliament to question the minister.
