The High Criminal Court has upheld a three-month prison sentence against a student convicted of assaulting his teacher.
The 22-year-old was attending an exam at Al Jabriya Technical School when the victim tried to prevent him from using his mobile phone.
The student insulted the teacher, spat on him and beat him. He left the exam room and came back with a chair which he threw inside the room.
He also held the teacher by the neck and threw a table on him, injuring his finger and causing chaos in the room, reports our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
