Asian woman commits suicide, husband charged with attempted suicide

A 27-year-old Asian woman, who married three months ago, committed suicide due to problems with her husband, according to Emarat Al Youm newspaper.

She was found hanging from the ceiling fan at their home, leaving a note addressed to her husband: “I will leave you forever. I will never return to you.”

The man, who was badly shocked, cut his wrists in an attempt to take his own life after finding his wife dead but was rescued after being taken to Rashid Hospital.

Dubai Police Assistant Commander-in-Chief Major-General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri dismissed criminal suspicions surrounding the woman’s suicide.

The Public Prosecution charged the husband with attempted suicide. The body of the woman was handed over to her family.
