London: His Majesty King Hamad yesterday met Britain’s Queen Elizabeth and UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at the Endurance Village of the Windsor Great Park, England.
The meeting was held on the occasion of His Majesty and Queen Elizabeth’s attendance of the international Royal Windsor Horse Show.
His Majesty thanked the Queen for inviting him to attend the annual show.
He exchanged cordial talks with Queen Elizabeth and Shaikh Mohammed on Bahrain’s outstanding relations with the UK and the UAE.
Talks also focused on the importance of promoting and spreading such a deep-rooted sport locally and globally.
The King also met Duke of York Prince Andrew, former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, Lord Astor, Britain’s Minister of State for Europe and the Americas Sir Alan Duncan and Sandhurst Commander General Paul Nanson.
