DIPLOMATS at the US Embassy yesterday joined the chorus of condemnation over the blast in Karranah on Friday.
“The US condemns in the strongest terms Friday night’s bombing in Karranah that killed a police officer and left several others wounded, including innocent civilians,” said the embassy in a statement.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the slain officer and the people of Bahrain.”
“Our hearts go out to those who find themselves in mourning as a result of this odious crime, and we hope that all who were injured experience a rapid recovery.”
“Friday night’s terrorist attack is reprehensible.”
The statement added that “reconciliation and dialogue” were the “only way forward for all Bahrainis to achieve their legitimate aspirations”.
