The Kuwaiti authorities have deported two convicted Muslim Brotherhood members as part of judicial and security co-operation with Egypt.
Ahmed Abdulmawjud Khedhiri Mohammed and Ali Hamouda Hassan Abdul’al were sentenced to ten years in absentia in 2014 in Sohaj, in upper Egypt.
The criminal court convicted them of murder, affiliation with an outlawed group, violence and possessing unlicenced firearms.
The two fugitives had been handed over to Cairo authorities through Interpol, a Kuwaiti security source told Al Rai newspaper.
