A 2011 French film, Declaration of War, comes to the screen at Bahrain Cinema Club tonight at 7pm.
The film tells the story of two young actors named Romeo and Juliette who fall in love at first sight, move in together and have a baby.
It is a love story that is centred around the baby boy named Adam who begins to behave abnormally.
The young parents attempt to persuade themselves that everything is okay, but with time they cannot delude themselves anymore.
Adam is suffering from a malignant brain tumour and from the moment he is diagnosed, the couple declare war against the illness, a war against death and a war against despair.
Directed by Valérie Donzelli, the film was nominated for five Cesar Awards including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actress.
