Manama: NuPower Development Bahrain will unveil Wireless Power Transmission technology at Gulf Industry Fair 2018.
The technology, to be available for the first time in Bahrain, will also debut in the rest of the GCC.
The technology provides reliable, sustainable and consistent power efficiently, which will not be hampered by weather conditions, distances or topography.
NuPower Development is composed of four district branches: Miami (US), Luxembourg, Egypt and Bahrain.
“Following the selection of Bahrain as the main centre for the Middle East and North Africa, the office was officially opened under the patronage of Princess Sitta bint Miteeb bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza. Gulf Industry Fair gives us the opportunity to showcase a technology that will allow Bahrain to safely and efficiently supply its citizens with grid-level power without requiring new power transmission lines,” NuPower chairman Talal Meshleh said.
The technology allows the earth itself to be used as a transmitter to transfer clean, safe and efficient power from any point on earth to wherever it is needed.
“NuPower Development Bahrain’s presence at Gulf Industry Fair provides an insight into tomorrow’s world. Wireless Power Transmission will revolutionise Bahrain and its electro-transmission landscape. Their presence will be an exciting addition to the energy profile of Gulf Industry,” HCE managing director Jubran Abdulrahman said.
