Manama: The Premier yesterday called for pan-Arab unity to ensure security in a world of political and economic blocs.
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa made his remarks when he received a delegation from Egyptian Al Ahram Foundation, led by its board chairman and dean of Egyptian journalists Abdul Mohsin Salama.
The Premier stressed the need to dedicate all resources and rally ranks to boost Arab nation’s security. He highlighted the significance of an active and influential role for Arab countries in global affairs.
The Premier commended the historical role of Egypt and its honourable stances in staving off dangers targeting the Arab nation.
He lauded the achievements of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his efforts in bolstering pan-Arab work.
“The present global policies and trends have left a negative impact in many Arab communities. However, I am hopeful about the future,” he said.
The Premier also lauded the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince to Egypt, stressing its importance in promoting joint Arab action.
