American Mission Hospital (AMH) has opened its fourth clinic in Bahrain.
The new medical and dental clinic in Riffa was officially launched yesterday by Supreme Council for Health chairman Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, in the presence of His Majesty the King’s adviser for youth and sports affairs Saleh Bin Hindi.
Also present at the event were American Ambassador Justin Siberell, AMH chief executive Dr George Cheriyan, senior hospital officials and other dignitaries.
“The clinic is modelled on the future model of healthcare which is providing comprehensive preventative and wellness care, close to where communities live,” Dr Cheriyan told the GDN.
“This is our fourth clinic and has advanced physiotherapy and rehabilitation facilities, along with a hydrotherapy pool and wellness and fitness clinic. Ever since the soft opening of the clinic 10 days ago we have been receiving patients."
“We believe there is a trust which the AMH brand has fetched in Bahrain which is making it the patients’ choice of a medical care facility.”
The clinic, which is located in the Callidus Centre opposite The Walk in Riffa, will operate daily from 7.30am to 11pm and will offer general services including family medicine, paediatrics, women’s health, ophthalmology, ENT, orthopaedics, dental, radiology, pharmacy, laboratory, dermatology and plastic surgery.
Other specialised services also include executive clinic, pain management, sports medicine, osteopathy and an Olympic sized pool for hydrotherapy.
The other AMH clinics are situated in Manama, Saar and Amwaj.
