LET’S talk about hype for a second. Almost every movie has a fair bit of hype surrounding it, hype can save or kill a movie.
To say that the bar is high for Avengers: Infinity War is an understatement. This movie has so many years worth of build-up, and so much expectations surrounding it that it is enough to kill Marvel’s momentum if it is anything less than perfect.
I am not exaggerating when I say it is perfect and it lives up to the hype and goes beyond it in so many ways.
I want to end this review right now and tell you to go watch it. Even bring your friends who don’t like superhero movies. It’s that good. But if that’s not enough to sell you on it I guess I have to write a proper review.
Thanos the mad Titan (played by Josh Brolin) is on the warpath to get the Infinity Stones, and it’s going to take the combined might of almost every character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to stop him.
I won’t say anything else because I don’t want to spoil anything but it’s safe to say that Thanos lives up to the build up surrounding him and the stakes have never been higher in any superhero movie.
Right from the get go the movie manages to balance incredible action scenes, hilarious banter, jaw dropping special effects and gut wrenching sadness.
It is paced so cleverly that almost everyone in the ensemble cast has a moment to shine.
Avengers: Infinity War is the perfect example of what makes superhero movies so good. It shows that incredible and touching stories can be told through them. Most importantly, it leaves the viewer with a sense of wonder, excitement and anticipation for what comes next.
