Manama: Huawei, a leading global ICT solutions provider, signed a partnership agreement with NGN Training Center to train Bahrainis by 2019.
The partnership aims to develop the ICT skills of Bahrainis and broaden their career possibilities through Huawei Professional Certifications, Huawei said in a statement.
Huawei Bahrain chief executive John Lu Yuedong said: “Huawei believes in human capital, and the importance of enhancing the ICT skills of Bahrainis looking to start or improve their careers.
“This partnership will provide relevant courses by certified Huawei trainers, to develop their ICT skills to achieve personal goals, and ultimately the kingdom’s aspirations.
“We are proud to join hands with NGN International to further show our commitment and support to Bahrain on its digital transformation journey, and also assist in attaining the goals of the kingdom’s Economic Vision 2030,” he said.
“We are confident that this partnership will be a stepping stone for trainees in expanding their knowledge in the telecom industry.”

Bahraini students, graduates and professionals can avail of the training courses to be conducted by Huawei-certified NGN trainers at the NGN Training Center. The centre offers a wide range of ICT, management, soft skills, business and VR/AR trainings.
NGN Training Center leverages NGN’s Group global expertise in IT, systems integration and project implementation, to deliver practical experience and knowledge to students.
Huawei will provide “Training the Trainer to Train” (TTT) programmes, courseware, certificates and E-lab access.
