Manama: Bahrain is eager to further expand commercial and trade relations with the UK, the Crown Prince said yesterday.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, made the remarks while receiving British Secretary of State for International Trade Dr Liam Fox, at Riffa Palace.
He highlighted longstanding strategic ties between Bahrain and the UK and called for more collaboration between the private sectors in both kingdoms.
Different aspects of trade and economic co-operation between Bahrain and the United Kingdom were reviewed. Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Alzayani attended.
