A PRIVILEGE card offering health services at discounted rates to members of the Filipino community in Bahrain has been launched.
It is a collaboration between Al Hilal Hospital and the Philippine Professional Organisation, and supported by the Philippines Embassy.
Al Hilal Hospital Group chief executive Dr Sharath Chandran and Filipino Ambassador Alfonso Ver launched the card at a special camp where nearly 400 Filipinos received free medical consultations.
“We have a strong presence in the kingdom, with more than 60,000 people, and it is our responsibility to ensure they are in good health,” said Mr Ver on the occasion.
“We have been and will keep reaching out to other communities too with these kinds of privilege cards to ensure people do not compromise with their health,” said Dr Chandran.
