His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, when chairing the weekly Cabinet session at Gudaibiya Palace, also voiced full support for private sector business.
He gave directives to the Ministerial Committee for Legal Affairs to study the proposals submitted to him by the board of directors of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry on ways to boost commercial activities.
The move is in line with the government’s keenness to support the private sector, a statement by Cabinet secretary general Dr Yasser Al Nasser said.
The Premier followed up on efforts to develop road network and infrastructure.
These include completion of the north Muharraq Ring Road and the Raya Avenue revamp and expansion projects, as part of efforts to link the Muharraq Governorates’ villages with a modern road network.
The Cabinet condemned the terrorist act on a security checkpoint in Al Qassim region, Saudi Arabia.
The session reiterated Bahrain’s support for Saudi Arabia in its war against terror.
