Kuwait City: A fisherman suspected of cheating his customers in the market is facing legal action, reported Al Anba.
The suspect is accused of stuffing his fish with nails to increase their weight to reap more profits.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry referred the suspect to the Trade Prosecution for investigation.
Commerce and Industry Minister Khalid Al-Rawdhan ordered an inquiry after a citizen posted a video recording showing nails inside fish she had bought from the market.
The ministry urged customers to keep the receipts and number of the stall in the market to protect their rights in case of fraud or cheating.
