The authorities in Kuwait have halted imports of all types of poultry, byproducts and eggs from Taiwan and Malaysia.
Meanwhile, a ban on importing them from Finland was lifted.
The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN) announced the ban, exempting thermally-processed products at 70 degrees, which will continue to imported.
It has also banned imports of fresh, chilled and frozen goat’s meat, lamb and beef from France due to the ourbreak of the anthrax.
Imports of goat’s meat, lamb and beef and their byproducts from the Gambia have also been prohibited due to the outbreak of the foot and mouth disease.
