Eleven Korean dishes will be exhibited this Friday at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence and Spa. It is part of the 2018 Korean Cuisine Week hosted by the Korean Embassy and the hotel. Visitors to the hotel’s Friday brunch at Al Fanar Restaurant are to expect a variety of Korean food such as Hobakjuk (pumpkin porridge), Oinaengguk (chilled cucumber soup), stir fried glass noodles and vegetables known as Japchae and other popular dishes. Two Korean master chefs, Jaesung Noh and Sunmyung Lee, were also invited from Korea to offer a four-day cooking class to the hotel’s chefs along with local chefs. The Korean Embassy is also organising a Korean Agricultural Food Product expo in October in collaboration with Al Jazira Supermarket. Above, Chef Jaesung Noh, right, during the cooking class.
