MANAMA: Bahrainis are proud to celebrate Saudi Arabia’s national occasions given the two peoples’ shared history, fraternity and cohesion, the Premier said yesterday.
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that Saudi Arabia is a pillar of regional security.
He also underlined its landmark progress as well as its tremendous efforts in the service of the holy sites.
The Premier made his remarks when he visited the Saudi Embassy, marking Saudi Arabia’s 88th National Day.
He was accompanied by members of the government, including all ministers and deputy premiers.
“What makes Saudi Arabia happy makes Bahrain happy,” the Premier said.
“We are keen to showcase our love and appreciation towards sisterly Saudi Arabia through visiting the Saudi Embassy on the Saudi National Day to express our love for the sisterly kingdom, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and its brotherly people.
“Every Saudi citizen has the right to be proud of their leaders who have achieved a lot for their country, people and nation,” the Premier said.
He reiterated support for initiatives by King Salman and his Crown Prince, hailing long-standing relations between the two kingdoms and their peoples.
