Riyadh – Former Kuwaiti member of the National Assembly is facing a new libel suit.
Lawyer Manif Al-Ammar lodged a case with the Public Prosecution, accusing Abdulhameed Dashti of defaming Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
According to Alqabas daily newspaper, the lawsuit will be filed as a state security criminal case.
The suspect has already been convicted and sentenced to jail in absentia for his involvement in defaming Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
