MANAMA: Efforts by Bahraini enterprises like the Al Hilal Group and Gulf Connexions towards achievement of Economic Vision 2030 were highlighted during a key meeting with Tamkeen, the labour fund authority.
This came about when a delegation from the group led by chairman Anwar Abdulrahman called on Tamkeen chief executive Dr Ebrahim Janahi.
The two sides discussed plans and ideas in relation to ongoing efforts to assist Bahraini job-seekers in finding career opportunities with companies in the kingdom and the potential co-operation between Al Hilal and Tamkeen initiatives.
The delegation also discussed opportunities to encourage Bahraini enterprises through participation in the country’s leading exhibitions.
Also present were Gulf Connexions chief executive Bayden Tierney, Al Hilal Group director for public affairs Ahmed Suleiman, Al Hilal Group publishing director Jubran Abdulrahman, Al Hilal Group managing director Ronnie Middleton and Tamkeen’s chief investment and marketing officer Dr Nasser Al Qaedi.
