A total of 178 people donated blood at the Alaskariyain Blood Donation Camp.
It was organised by the A’ali Social Charity Society in collaboration with the Health Ministry and the Bahrain Society for Sickle Cell Disease Patients Care at Haji Ahmed Mansoor Al A’ali Events Hall.
The camp was held under the patronage of ministry Under-Secretary Dr Waleed Al Manaa. Present were Jaffari Court head judge Shaikh Nasser Al Asfoor, MP-elect Abdulnabi Salman, new area municipal councillor, A’ali Club president Hussain Al A’ali and society president Adel Al Sitri.
“We rejected 97 individuals, while the oldest to register was 71 and the youngest 17, with the oldest accepted from being 56 and the youngest 18,” said campaign public relations head Hussain Al A’ali.
