Kuwait City: An Egyptian national working with the Ministry of Higher Education has been sentenced to five years in jail for his involvement in the academic degree scam.
A Kuwaiti national citizen who secured a public prosecution job using a fake degree has also been sentenced to five years in prison, reported Al Qabas.
The ministry announced last July that it had discovered a number of fake university degrees issued in an Arab country.
