MANAMA: Consumer protection and transparency are a major priority as Bahrain prepares for the introduction of Value Added Tax (VAT).
Finance and National Economy Ministry assistant under-secretary for development and policy of public revenues Rana Ebrahim Faqihi yesterday also affirmed the ministry’s commitment to increase consumers and businesses’ awareness about VAT procedures and legal frameworks, in line with the VAT Law and its executive regulations .
