MANAMA: A new unit to address members grievances has been set up by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).
Under the direct control of chief executive Shaker Al Shater, the unit would enable an open communication channel between the chamber and its members, aimed at redressing their grievances and eliminating hurdles curbing the progress of business and trade.
“It is in line with the strategy of the 29th board of directors of the chamber stressing on open and effective communication between BCCI and members, that we founded this unit,” said Mr Al Shater.
“The unit will receive members grievances, handle them discretely and professionally, and offer solutions.
“It will report directly to me, and we will make sure every grievance is handled very professionally,” he added.
The chief executive said members have the option to file official grievances through personal meetings or through e-mails, faxes or phone calls to the unit.
The unit’s phone numbers are 17380106 and 17380107 and its e-mail is complaint@bcci.bh.
