Bahrain-based Brave Combat Federation last night confirmed that fighters from 11 nations will be taking part in the first international mixed martial arts event to be held in Saudi Arabia on Friday.
The event will be held under the patronage of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa at the King Abdullah Sports City Indoor Sports Hall in Jeddah.

“Brave Combat Federation has bought global attention to the Kingdom of Bahrain by strengthening the sport of mixed martial arts around the world and especially developing the sport in the region,” said Brave president Mohammed
Shahid.
“The platform is creating a global eco-system for the sport of mixed martial arts as well as attracting more upcoming athletes to embrace the sport with a passion.
“We are bringing nations together to destinations which never had a base for the sport previously,” added Shahid.
