A light earthquake was detected near Iran, however, it had little impact on other countries in the region.
The Bahrain Seismic station of the Meteorological Directorate, of the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry, had detected at 7.48am Bahrain local time an earthquake 50kilometers southeast of Bushehr, Iran with a magnitude of 4.7 Richter scale and with 37.5 km depth.
A 4.7 on the scale registers as “Light” according to online sources, which means it most likely had noticeable shaking of indoor objects and rattling noises, felt by most people in the affected area while having little to no impact outside the immediate area.
