BAHRAIN’s parliament has told the government to rethink plans to impose VAT on utility bills, on the same day that MPs were urged to co-operate with policymakers on strategies designed to bolster the economy.
The chamber yesterday voted against adding VAT to power and water bills, just days after the plan was announced on Sunday .
