MANAMA: Eagle Hills Diyar, the developer of the $3 billion mixed-use Marassi Al Bahrain project, has announced the completion of Marassi Residences as it prepares to hand over apartments to new homeowners.
The first premium residential component of the mega project, Marassi Residences features one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments along with amenities such as gyms, swimming pools, recreation rooms and dedicated indoor parking.
Eagle Hills Diyar is a joint venture between Abu Dhabi-based private real estate investor Eagle Hills and Diyar Al Muharraq, the developer of the master-planned city Diyar Al Muharraq.
To mark the completion, a ceremony was held in the presence of Real Estate Regulatory Authority chairman and Survey and Land Registration Bureau president Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Eagle Hills chairman Mohamed Alabbar, Eagle Hills Diyar vice-chairman Abdulhakeem Al Khayyat and managing director Dr Maher Al Shaer.
“We would like to congratulate the homeowners and we are positive that they will enjoy their new homes in the vibrant community,” Mr Alabbar said.
Dr Al Shaer said Marassi Residences would set a new standard for luxury living, due to its prime location, wide range of amenities and other offerings.
The 875,000sqm Marassi Al Bahrain development comprises 6,000 apartments, 200,000sqm of retail space, Marassi Galleria mall and two hotels – The Address Marassi Al Bahrain and Vida Marassi Al Bahrain, along with a 34,000sqm central park and a 2km beachfront and promenade flanked by restaurants and cafés. The developer is positioning it as a “smart city, offering luxury homes, high-end shopping, leisure and entertainment”.
Residents will also get direct access to the mall and the beach.
