A BAHRAINI footballer is alive and kicking, despite rumours on social media that he has died.
Faouzi Aaish, 33, was falsely reported to have been killed in a traffic accident – prompting some people to post condolences and even YouTube tribute videos in his memory.
However, the GDN has confirmed that the Al Riffa Sports Club player is still among the living. He made several appearances for the Bahrain national team between 2005 and 2016, including 14 World Cup qualifying matches.
